TOUCH UPS

Touch-ups are a normal part of the tattoo process. Everyone’s skin heals differently, and sometimes areas may heal lighter or softer — even with perfect technique and proper aftercare.

Common reasons for touch-ups:

• Skin heals differently for everyone

• Your immune system naturally breaks down pigment

• Friction and movement can affect ink retention

Areas that often need extra touch-ups:

Hands, fingers, feet, ankles, and inner wrists. These areas experience more washing, friction, movement, and thinner skin, making them harder for ink to hold. Cover-ups may also require touch-ups.

What is a touch-up?

A quick refinement session to reinforce lines, deepen shading, and perfect the final result. Adding to the original design is considered a new tattoo and will be charged accordingly.

Great tattoos are built, not rushed.

✨ OUR TOUCH-UP POLICY ✨

• One complimentary touch-up

• Must be used within 6 months of the original appointment

After 6 months — or beyond the first touch-up — regular rates apply.

Important:

Your touch-up appointment is the time to communicate any adjustments you would like (thicker lines, darker shading, bolder appearance, etc.).

Once the touch-up is completed, any additional changes will require a new paid appointment.

Adding to the original tattoo will also result in additional charges.

Not all tattoos require a touch-up. If your tattoo heals perfectly, there is no need to use the complimentary session.

Clear communication helps us make your tattoo look its best.

HEALING

Healing times can vary from person to person, but most tattoos take 2–4 weeks to heal on the surface and up to 6–8 weeks to fully settle into the skin.

During the healing process it is normal to experience:

• Redness and mild swelling during the first few days

• Light scabbing or flaking

• Itchiness as the skin heals

• Slight dullness while the tattoo is healing (the brightness returns once healed)
